Local Run Crews

YYCRunCrew is a free, all levels run crew based in Calgary, Alberta. We run Tuesdays and Sundays from various locations around the city. Our philosophy is simple, we’re all runners. Whether you’re lacing up for your first 3km run/walk, running your 10th half marathon, or lacing up to set a world record, you’re a runner. And if you’re a runner, you can run with us. And if you’ve run with the crew, you’re part of the crew. There’s no registration fees, and no sign up, just show up.

Promoting running for pleasure, competition, fitness and sportsmanship! The Calgary Roadrunners is the longest standing Calgary club with membership currently around 200 and club dues set at $30/year. Best known for its annual winter cross-country series, Calgary Roadrunners also train throughout the year and their schedule can be found on the website.

All adults and levels are welcome to join us. Our intention for our group is to support each other in running, share group events, and meet on a regular basis. The last Thursday evening of every month we meet after our run for a social gathering. Locations vary, so make sure you check the Facebook page. Everyone is welcome to attend whether you want to run first or just come out to meet the group.

Safe, social and fun! We are a female and female identifying run club that gives women a space to move outdoors with confidence. There is no sign up or fee. All levels of fitness are welcome. Jog:walk intervals of 1min:2min are attainable for a beginner and have science backed benefits for experienced runners. We run anywhere from 45 to 50 minutes and occasionally include a couple hills if we're feeling spicy! The routes are always 5 km or less. The Academy has parking for free and overflow street parking that is free after 6pm.
